North Carolina Whitetail Deer hunting

Our goal at Carolina Woods & Water is to provide our deer hunters with the best opportunity for a successful NC deer hunt. Three quarters of our hunting land is under intense management. We have 3 management blocks: one is 5,200 acres one is 3,200 acres and the other is 1,800 acres. Forty-two percent of our clients over the last 5 years have taken 8-point bucks or better. Seventy-two percent took an antlered buck. We have held a 100% opportunity rate throughout the 5 years we have been open, along with a 95% success rate. Seventy-five percent of our hunters reported seeing legal bucks and 99% saw antlered bucks. We averaged killing 2.5 NC deer per person. With continued hunting land management, more clients should have an excellent chance at an 8-point or better during North Carolina's deer hunting season.

Throughout these 15,000 acres you will find cleared lanes, as well as many small deer food plots. In our deer food plots you will find a natural mix of soybeans, clover, wheat, and rye. In the areas where there are no food plots, there will be loose corn as well as corn feeders. North Carolina Deer Hunting Stands

We pride ourselves on our NC deer hunting stands, not only the quality but also the hunting location. Our deer stands consist of metal box deer blinds ranging from 8' to 16' in height. We also have tripods, ground blinds, and ladder deer stands all of metal. Each deer stand will either be boxed in or camouflaged to adequately disguise your movement. We spend the entire off season scouting and preparing each and every one of our deer stand locations. Each deer stand places you in a location where you have the very best opportunity to harvest a North Carolina whitetail deer.
